To the question of the strategy of demographic development and the concept of demographic policy of Russia

The article substantiates the need for population management in modern Russia and the development in this connection, the correct policy planning documents. These instruments include the demographic development strategy and the concept of demographic policy. The first document is still not developed. Only scientific publications discuss its fundamental aspects. The concept of demographic policy, by contrast, works, but has flaws. The article attempts to address these shortcomings and bind the concept of demographic development strategy. The aim of the strategy is formulated in the demographic development of Russia. It is to ensure, primarily at the expense of reproductive components, secondarily, through the migration components of population dynamics, necessary for the steady build-up of socio-economic and defense strength of the Russian Federation.
