Abstract
In Russian psychology Psychology of leisure is poorly developed. In conditions of economic crisis problems of leisure studies it is particularly interesting. Features experiencing an economic crisis in the field of leisure and employment due to personal, social and group characteristics of respondents. The study used the author's questionnaire aimed at identifying the experiences of the economic crisis, the difficulties and the opportunities that it brought, fears associated with them, strategies to adapt to it in the field of leisure and employment, as well as the attitude towards work and leisure. Five socio-psychological types have been identified related to the economic crisis, which are divided into optimistic, pessimistic and inconsistent. They differ in the level of anxiety and fear due to the economic crisis.
