Problems of poverty in the context of life values of Russians

Poverty — is one of the most incisive social problems of modern society that characterizes the economic situation of the individual or social group in which they can't satisfy a certain range of the minimum requirements needed for life, saving work capacity, procreation. There are more than 20 million people the poor and needy in Russian population. Negative trends have led to increased differentiation in society, widening the gap between the poorest and the richest, with a significant deterioration in the situation of the poorest categories. Research which was realized in 2015 at the expense of state support allocated as a grant in accordance with the Presidential Decree of 01/17/2014 number 11-rp and on the basis of results of the competition, held by the Fund ISEP, in three regions (the Kaluga Region, the Lipetsk region and Udmurt republic) has demonstrated the importance of civil society as an important mechanism for solving the problems of poverty in modern Russia.
