Abstract

In this article, the author reveals the inadequacy of public consciousness of the social value of money and banking promotes socially flawed monetary policy, which in turn is one of the main causes of the crisis phenomena in the economy and society. The author reveals the insufficiency of measures to combat the effects of the global economic crisis, critically analyzes the proposal to create a system of supranational regulation of financial markets; makes the case for change conceptual approaches to the money supply, reconfigure the objectives and methods of monetary policy and Government intervention.
