A new approach to traditional social institutions

The article is dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of the Department of Sociology at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. It identifies the main features and the inclusion of sociology as an academic discipline and as a scientific direction in the Economical University. The second part of the article focuses on the issue of fatherhood as a phenomenon and a social institution and its link with Labour and Employment Institution.
